Some facts to consider if thinking of converting a diesel engine to run on vegoil. I am adding more Vegoil Facts to this page as I go along, and increase my own knowledge.

Vegetable Oils have a higher viscosity than Diesel Oil, which means the vegetable oils are thicker when at the same temeperature as diesel.
Vegetable Oils are safer to use than Diesel, in that they have a lower flash point and are therefore less likely to burn.
Vegetable Oils are inherently environment-friendly. Vegetable Oils are either produced directly from grown plant material or are recycled from waste products.
Vegoil is a natural, renewable, carbon-neutral energy source.
Vegetable Oils have a lower toxicity to humans than Diesel Oil.
Vegetable Oil is a nourishing food source.
Vegetable Oil conversion systems are portable and can be moved from vehicle to vehicle, for instance when selling.
A vegetable oil or vegoil is an oil extracted from oilseeds or another plant source. Some vegetable oils, such as rapeseed, cottonseed or castor oil, are not fit for human consumption without further processing.
Like all fats, vegetable oils are esters of glycerin and a varying blend of fatty acids, and are insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.
